I have just had a very similar debate (see below)...
on having a small adjustment made to a Type XX that i recently bought from breguet. I too am obsessed with having a spotless dial and my hesitation with having the watch adjusted was largely a function or whether it would come back in a different condition.
I have two things to say:
1) If you are like me and something annoys you, no matter how small or trivial it is, get it fixed - these things are supposed to be perfect.
2) Breguet seems to be one of most professional and reliable companies I have ever dealt with - also Breguet's quality control in terms of how clean the dial is under 10X magnification, the perfection of the case, the hand polishing, is not equalled in any other company i personally have seen. (I have seen, under magnification, eyelashes in $50k watches, dust specs in many $100k watches and scratches on the hands of many watches) - I have scrutinised my type XX and it is perfect.
I have just left my breguet to be adjusted slightly at the Breguet boutique in London. I expressed my concerns on having it adjusted (as it is largely a pathetic issue, but nevertheless important to me) to the Manager (Adrian) who incidentally is one of the most knowledgeable and professional people in the industry - an absolute pleasure to deal with. He explained, and reassured me, that any adjustments are handled by breguet 100% and it will be perfectly treated - I live in London and the watch will be adjusted her in the UK.
Also remember that you will have to deal with isue at some point when you get it serviced.
Hope this helps and understand you concerns completely
