Breguet

I’m not asking about the model or serial numbers

Hey there,

Regarding your question about why I care, the answer is curiosity and scholarship. I’m a big fan of Breguet, but there’s not a ton of information out there. I’d like to learn more, and this forum has lots of knowledgable folks, so I thought I’d ask.

Also, I think you may have misunderstood my question. I’m not asking about reference numbers (3350 or 3357)—other collectors have tried to make sense of those—or the serial numbers (1201 N), which aren’t sequential except for the letter suffix. However, the 3350/3357 tourbillon has an additional number, the tourbillon number. After a little Googling, it is does seem to be sequentially increasing:
I’ve also found reference to an A-series tourbillon numbered below 5, another which is numbered 23, and a C-series tourbillon whose number is between 278–283.

You seem pretty certain that the tourbillon number doesn’t indicate anything. Where are you getting your information?

Thanks!
