There’s a military version as well. Both have dates at 4:30. And they are automatic.

I’m floored by this. Breguet has a pre-organized focus group of die-hard Type XX fans on this platform and others. It is a simple thing for its design and marketing team to consult with its supporters. And yet they put out something wildly out of touch. C... 

Underwhelmed

Their whole product line is priced in a way that does not compute... The Tradition is insanely nice for the $ for example, and then $18k for this...

I can, literally, get a solid gold Breguet for that. With no messy date window to boot!

Trying to acquire. Huge miss, date is an obvious culprit, but there are at least 5 design flaws on first pass that make it a no for me, the previous bi-compax Type XX was also questionable... a shame considering the potential

The hands are „nice“, because they are „different“! Also the case and the proportions are great! But too big! Max 40, they should have been. The price, well… 🤦🏻‍♂️ And the green lume is a joke! 🙈 However, it has potential… I believe, they will bring a no-...

According to SJX, it isn’t the same as the Blancpain F385. A new chronograph from Lemania/Manufacture Breguet is cool. The lack of a jumping minutes is interesting, I wonder if it’s a revision of an existing movement or something brand new.

One can only laugh. What an absolute miss. The date alone is a deal-killer. WTF?

I was expecting something like the Only Watch. Guess it was just wishful thinking. 42 mm is so 2014🫠 They can do it and still they don’t. I’m on my way to the Breguet reception in Bourget Airport. Let’s see what they have to say to the community’s ice col... 

I'm less eager to go to the reception in Le Bourget now but I will, for the nice lunch and the gifts, indeed to hear what the team says about the comments of the fans. Also want to know what will come next, which could somewhat correct some of the design ...

Big miss. I mean the hands , the date (a date that cuts into the Arabics 😅😭), it just doesn't work. Too bad I was hoping they would knock it out of the park to get Breguet some attention and buzz.

can't warm up to this one. Hands, I can deal with. Lume I can deal with. Size, I like big watches so 42mm is good for me. One thing that I dislike on watches are dates/date windows. They usually are eyesores on beautifully designed watch dials. But this, ... 

Just looking at the subdial placement, what is this, 55mm? All the proportions look way off. No need to comment on the date, everyone else has already! Best E.

Terribly done. The oversized subdial at 3 o’clock eating into the numerals and the hands are most irritating. Case size and pricing don’t make it better.

38mm with no date and no diamond too. I will be first in the queue to get it.

Could this be a New Coke head-fake? How could Breguet's designers and any focus group miss this? Is this Swatch erecting its middle finger to enthusiasts, believing that there is a group of unknowing rubes who will nevertheless go for this model?

For a singular watch, yes. But this is an enthusiast heritage model... I know I'm "preaching to the choir"

Glad I found a 3800 at nearly half the price. The description for the 2057/67 mentions a sapphire case back. I imagine the larger size, new movement and case back justify the price increase. Rolex did something similar when it discontinued the Cellini and...

I find it better looking, the more often I look at it. The vintage remake works, o.k. it has a date but there are plenty of high end chronos with a date.

What I like is: it has got character. The unsymetrical subcounters, the thick central seconds hand are not the usual soft design. I think, I like it! 😃

They dare to be different and made an advanced movement. I respect that.

People buying this sort of watch are in their 40/50 ies.

I think I'm in the minority of enthusiasts who value and appreciate a date window, but the execution here is absolutely hideous. Done correctly this launch could've pulled me into the Breguet brand given how unobtainable other brands are now, but this poo... 

42mm? Yuck. Not to mention the ugly hands and awful date placement.

Thankfully, Bell&Ross straightens out the date at 4:30 so it is not diagonal.
