But with a date, if the watch ran down several days ago, it’s easier in my mind to advance the hands through several days to the correct date than to get out the stylus and look up the current moon phase. With a power reserve of 38 hours, one will want to keep the stylus handy. Just a practical point to ponder.

I think some Breguet movements were so so in the past but I have no clue about this one. Legibility might not be its forte, but its charm is indeed in those extra long and thin hands. If I may, I would say go for it!

It's just as easy to google the day of the moon as it is the date or time. Setting is simple with that.

Too many hands pointing in different directions for my personal purist taste but I am sure this feature will appeal to some If you like it then go ahead, I am sure the timekeeping and reliability is spot on.
