Very beautiful
You took a good example of a 1950 watch with complications.
As i am go full into vintage, i was this week wondering to explore 50ties watches with complications.
As a date is called a complication, i skip this phrase.
Minimal beyond only a date, complications begin to take place.
An old perpetual, an old moon, yes here is where i want to begin.
As i do not focus on a group, level etc, i focus on availability of parts, knowhow of watchmakers, and dial looks.
An alarm would be new to explore theme. Vulcain Cricket, JLC Memovox.
An unusual Breguet
This 35 mm Breguet Triple Calendar No. 1039, sold on 16 December 1952, looks a bit like a Vacheron Constantin or a Jaeger-LeCoultre from the same era. But, what a beautiful watch! It was sold at Antiquorum in 1991 and later at Christie's in 2016 and again...
The traditional Breguet coin edge signature is definitely missing.
But this watch seems to have been intended as "different". Best, Emmanuel

That's what say the dedicated auction pages, but 12''' only means 12 Lignes, which is a measure of the diameter of the movement, that's all... Best, Emmanuel

the gubelin calibre is G7017-stamped on the barrel bridge-from a two hand watch.
