I am a fan. Already own one Octo Finissimo but could easily see myself wearing this new release. Opaline dial, titanium case, textured rubber strap. That movement inside. Superb package in my opinion. Only weakness for me would be the meager 30m WR and I ...  

Love how they integrated the strap to the case, will probably get one of those rubber for mine! ...

I tried on the titanium version for a short time and I didn't find it very comfortable. I suppose a longer test would be necessary to make a real determination since the time I tried it on was very short. I agree, the 40mm version would be nice. But I sti...

That is certainly a cool version... hard to come by for the moment however ... but I agree it is very cool!

But bracelets can appear differently for different people. My Octo on bracelet is one of the most comfortable I have worn.... but for a sportier purpose I may prefer rubber as it feels like it would tolerate more movement...

by this one myself, the 30m WR bothering me more than it appears to be bothering you, though. Looking forward to trying this on, an instant hit it seems. Cheers Marc

I do not necessarily intend to dive with these kind of watches (even though I throughly enjoy scuba activities). But I do want to be able to go into the pool and shower without being stressed about keeping it on the wrist

30m bothers me quite a bit... on rubber I expect to be able to wear actively without worrying about water... so it is quite a challenge and would be main excuse for me not going for one ...

I’m going to continue to “call people out” on these water comments as I think we’re just allowing myth to pervade.

My "belief" is different from yours and if I err, I'd like to on the side of caution in this matter. Cheers Marc

For me the watch is part of my lifestyle and I want it to be worn in many types of condition.. this makes wr an important factor

But the temptation is there!

Not sure I follow this comment... but perhaps you are right

Grand Seiko has so many special releases, US, Japan, limited editions, dials for 4 seasons, each mountains, bamboos, snow flakes, rain drops etc....that I gave up. I fear the Octo is moving in that direction...or forget Omega Speedmaster too.

But I would still argue the releases are justified so far... but yes would not like to see too many iterations in too short of a time span... however I have been on the lookout for a variety of the chrono since I was not in love with the gray dial... now ... 

Color changes are very lazy limited editions; a blue one is limited, a green one is limited... I do like the Tadao Ando limited edition in titanium, since the titanium would pass for concrete, it's meaningful as a Tadao Ando limited edition since the arch...

am wearing the 40mm titanium since last January and it is my most worn watch. Love the bracelet without the clasp and with a blind closure. For me, this is another winner for Bvlgari. For those who want to swim with a watch, why not the Casio G-Shock Squa... 

For the beach I happily go with one of these ... ...

Black dial is very compelling addition...hence my attraction to this chrono!

I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up with a second one too... But first I have to get my first one!

I'm on the wait list for my first Octo Finissimo. Just patiently waiting here.

Been waiting for over a month already...

The Oct Finissimo in titanium feels like pure silk on the wrist. Bulgari was the first watch company to take titanium and make it feel very premium. Many other titanium watches look nice but often times feel unsatisfying when wearing.

It has a great premium feel. Th finishing of the case and bracelet is top class... I am really in awe every time I wear mine !

The chrono in titanium at 100m WR would be a great alternative to the Rolex Daytona. Especially with the tackymeter scale and lume like on the Revolution version. Add the black textile strap. Boy, that would be the dream!
