It looks fine on your wrist. Admittedly it is a bit large for a dress watch in terms of traditional definition but by modern conventions it'll do just fine. - SJX

Thank you to everyone for the comments. I went back to the store and after much thought have decided on the larger size! The pictures are really quite deceiving since they are up close and from a single angle. After looking in the mirror for quite a while...
