More thoughts on water resistant

For me, any decent watch from reputable company with at least 30m water resistant rating will be good enough to handle your described condition.

I'm in Bangkok myself so the condition here is very similar to yours.

What I find to be a bigger issue in this hot/humid climate is leather-based strap. I personally prefer leather strap but found, much to my chagrined, that it gets dirty and breaks down much faster than in colder cimate countries.

My previous watch was an EPOS (a good watch company that I rate at least a notch or two down from Cartier) rated at 30m water resistant. No problem whatsoever with water and I watch my hand quite often with it.

However, the leather strap broke apart (and it got quite dirty despite my fairly frequent cleaning) less than 2 years into its lifecycle.

I still have it and love it. Just recently got myself a Pasha with SS strap. Zero worry about water and will do a full photo/report soon.

Cheers!
