Probably my all time favourite Cartier of them all is this Cartier Tortue Chronographe Monopoussoir 'CPCP'.
This model in white gold and with the blue dial is for me "The One" I don't know why exactly but this one just speaks to me so strongly and I just find it so beautiful.

Years ago I searched for this particular version-WG, blue markings-and when I finally found it the dealer wouldn't sell to me because I was in the USA. I can't remember exactly what it was listed for but certainly under 15K USD. I ultimately got that move...
It is hard to believe, but
Cartier AD in Hong Kong sold me one at 30% off in 2003 and to sweeten the deal offered a mechanical Basculante at equivalent of 1600 USD. Tnat was before boutiques became a commonplace. How the times changes. And I still have both.
