Two sets of limited editions were created by Cartier to celebrate the reopening of the historic boutique at 13 rue de la Paix , in Paris . The first set was launched in 1999 , the second in 2022 . More recently (end of 2024 ), Cartier released a new Paris...

And it turns out I was wrong about this Cloche: it's a new release from late 2024 and wasn't part of the 1999 salmon limited editions. So I modified the post. Best, Emmanuel

I picked the special cloche of 2025! Yes you forgot this one although they all look the same to be honest ...

from 13 Rue de la Paix rather than from Kuala Lumpur so I guessed that must have helped.

To be honest, I did not even know this cloche existed but even after Cartier asked me if I was interested, it took them two months to decide whether or not I was worthy

where we also pay them for the privilege of being accepted 🤣🤣🤣 C’est la vie.

We seem to have to pay for the best of the best these days as demand exceeds supply.

There was no Cloche in 1999. Your gorgeous salmon dial Cloche seems to have been released late 2024. Do you by any chance have the reference number? Best, Emmanuel

I was a bit disappointed when you said that it had been released in 1999 and again in 2022. The reference is CRWHCC0009 assuming the Cartier invoice is correct!

As I understand this watch is designed to be worn sideways on the wrist to facilitate ease of reading while driving (hence the name) so it seems the clasp would occupy the traditional position at the underside of the wrist. I wonder how comfortable this d... 

isn't designed to be worn on the side of the wrist as it is too large for it. I think it's designed to be worn on the "flat" top of the wrist. The driver's watches designed to be worn on the side of the wrist are much shorter lug-to-lug, like those below....  

I really like crystals that distort the dial. They're kind of contradictory to the basic watch function. And this one in particular DOUBLES the PP logo! Gotta love that!
