I like the platinum time only model.
I'm surprised they put a central seconds on the platinum time only variant. As that 96 series movement was designed to have a sub seconds dial. This is my favorite release from Chopard this year. Being platinum, it's probably going to be expensive, and I'm happy with my steel Chopard. I really like the Chopard steel! It's shinier than normal steel, looks like palladium, and it's whiter than most steel and white gold - both of those have a gray tinge. Chopard's Lucent steel looks like it's a rhodium plated white gold watch.

But I'm really glad to see that the limited edition with that special black dial is indeed far more legible in these photos compared to the first photo we saw. Marc
The flying tourbillon for me. Maybe my favorite release so far.
I know everyone will clamor for the black model. I'll never understand why companies add a date on an all black watch. This model would be much better without out a date. But the dial color on the tourby... yum!

Like you, Patrick, I like the Platinum version,
and I like it that there's no small seconds to disrupt the iris pattern, like in the XPS. But it isn't my favorite release from Chopard: I personally like the Quattro Mark IV or Heritage EHG Moon 122 better. Or the new Full Strike Revelation. Cheers, Emma...

I really like the sound and speed of the Patek 5078. I should probably stick with what I know.
I like them a little fast, around 17 seconds for the 12:59 sequence. And I like them loud! Louder the better!

Is it more shatter resistant than normal ceramic? Can it be done in high polish!
It's ceramicized titanium,
so basically titanium, but to which a "sporty bead-blasted finish" (as Chopard calls it) can be applied. Best, Emmanuel
