And I feel the date function has been executed impeccably- it doesn't deter from the overall curvaceous symmetry, and provides functionality in a slender form. Micro rotor, slim movement... Geneva hallmark all add to the appeal. Lovely addition!

However much some of us prefer our watches date free, lots of 'conventional' watch buyers are happy with one. At the same time, I am still somewhat unsure, where the boundary lies - i.e. do the marketing departments of watch manufacturers simplify things ...

Robin, Nice to see you back on PuristSPro too. It's a mystery how the L.U.C Tonneau watch escaped my collection....so far. Back in the mists of Time, I passed on the old L.U.C 3.97 as it was called then. I even passed on the rare 200 piece Prince of Wales...
