The green dial AE is also a bit more expensive than the other dial versions. I understand that part of the purchase price for the green dial version is donated to a foundation protecting the environment.

Your purists watch friend should know better! Chopard is a true manufacture since 1996 and produces some very authentic and high-end horology.
