It pairs quite well, but so does the brown. Still, I think I can do better with others.
The reason the plastic is on the watch, and even while this quick-change system by Chopard is quite impressive, the factory straps are too long for me. I refuse to wear a new watch of this caliber on the tightest hole, and given how Chopard makes these straps with the metal built in to the ends, they are extremely stiff near the lugs. So my AD is working on short, OEM quick change straps in these colors. I have several other ideas, and truth be told, I will probably abandon the Chopard system so I am not limited to Chopard-only straps. The straps are so rigid, it takes away from the wonderful platinum heft, IMO.

They nailed this dial texture. It is uber appealing to me, after 25 years of conventional guilloche dials.

I want you to see the Tutima. That watch has made a major impact on me, and honestly was a convincing domino on going for this Chopard. By the way, M4, you do know this is the Mark IV, as in M4? I know, I know, I have Vladded you enough already!!

It was one of my favorite releases from 2025. I've been thinking about it more seriously the past few months. I wanted to see the 2026 releases, and that reaffirmed my decision to grab this updated Quattro.

This has been a standout Chopard piece since its release. So many special features, but I love the Tuscany-like dial, the unique hands, the bee hallmark (which I just learned about), and that movement🤩. The strap system is interesting as you pointed out. ...

Unfortunately, I'm afraid the cons are going to outweigh the pros for me. I'll have a separate and more detailed post about this system. Everything else about the peace is fantastic.

And I know you have seen this one up close. I did quite a bit of research on it the past months, as I was unable to handle one before buying it. I find many of the the posted photos make the dial look much more blue than it actually is. My own phone camer...
I agree with you, Michael, the photos tend to accentuate the colors
