165 Years – Homage to F.A. Lange anniversary collection (in daylight)

The “165 Years – Homage to F.A. Lange” anniversary collection was introduced in Singapore during the recent A. Lange & Söhne and Sincere Watch media event. The anniversary collection pays tribute to Ferdinand Adolph Lange, the founder of Germany’s precision watchmaking industry and to the trailblazing creations devised in his manufactory , consists of three models - the TOURBOGRAPH “Pour le Mérite”, the LANGE 1 TOURBILLON with stop seconds and the 1815 MOONPHASE.

A new gold alloy was developed for this anniversary collection, named as Honey Coloured Gold. The gold still maintains its standard parts per thousand, at 750 or 18K but certain compound was added to increase its hardness over 300 Vickers, about twice as hard as other gold alloys.
When asked about the compound/s added, the executive from A. Lange & Söhne replied it's a secret.
