Montmartre is certainly one of the most touristic place, in Paris.
The old village, the basilic du Sacré Coeur, the bars, paintings and painters, the old houses, the tourists, the ambiance, all is here to make of this place a very special one, with a lot of charm.
For the travelers coming from all over the world, this is indeed a place to go, to visit, and to spend some hours, here.
As always in Paris, and I guess it is correct for all the places in the world, go there, loose yourself, don't have goals, just walk and enjoy the place and its inimitable ambiance.
The Sacré Coeur Basilic:
A typical Parisian, the Pigeon:
Another typical architecture from Paris, the famous Kiosk, where you buy your favourite newspapers:
Stairs... Because Montmartre is located in the heights of Paris:
... And more stairs:
Just in front of the Basilic, where all the artists are gathering...
The panorama is just breathtaking:
The two cumplices seem to enjoy their walk:
... Before facing the crowd:
A nice view on the basilic, from an old street:
The old shops, restaurants, and bars:
The famous Place du Tertre, with all the paintings and painters:
A typical Parisian Lady in action ( on the phone )... Do you see the tag on trhe wall " Bomb alert "? Does that have been written for her?
The daugher, a bit tired after such a walk, needs some rest:
... But after a pancake and a hot chocolate, all is right!
It is time to go back home, as I have a brand forum to moderate!
A last view on another nice detail of Montmartre, the windmills:
Hoping that you enjoyed the tour....
Best,
