AMVOX 2 pics and some AMVOX 1 questions

Hi all,

I am very happy with my newly acquired AMVOX 2 chronograph. It is a low and "lucky" number of the platinum version limited to 200 pieces. This is an unusual and bold design, which "speaks/sings to me" and it has that uber-cool mechanical magical mystery of the vertical trigger. I have frequently been timing unimportant pseudo-events like the fool I sometimes am. Try wearing this watch and withstand the urge to time something!

My AD has two different versions of the AMVOX 1. The smaller 42 mm black stainless steel version with black leather strap (unlimited production) and the larger 44 mm titanium version with dark green dial with yellow details and dark green carbon fiber strap (limited to 500 pieces). The 44 mm platinum version which I believe was limited to 150 pieces is "sold out" and the first titanium version with black dial limited to 1000 pieces also "sold out".

The bigger green LE is considerably more expensive but a better fit for my wrist size-wise. I have some concerns which make me hesitant to pull the trigger. The AMVOX 1 doesn't feel as well "crafted" or interesting in its details as AMVOX 2 does. Has anyone else handled both (or maybe already own both)? What are your feelings and thoughts about this? My positive view of the AMVOX 2 has been growing stronger since I bought it and the idea of adding AMVOX 1 to the collection and being ready for AMVOX 3 later is appealing to me. I think the color scheme of the dark green AMVOX 1 is quite extreme for a watch but, in the context of the bold design, it appears to work. My concern is that I find AMVOX 1 to be somewhat plain in comparison with 2. Can anyone advise or share some ideas?

Cheers,
Johan
