AP vs JLC vs Rolex
Hi everyone,
Im new to this forum, so bear with me and i hope someone can direct me in the right direction and answer my queries.
Im 23 yrs and by end of this year ill be graduating with my masters degree and after that i plan to join my family business. So as my graduation present my father asked me to choose a watch which ill be using for at least next 3 years.
Im looking of an everyday watch which can be used in business environment and some formal dinner. And i don't plan to buy a new wristwatch after this purchase unless i made a huge profits for my company. Plus im also looking for a wrist watch which might appreciate in value or at least retain its price.
Till now i have chosen a few wrist watches. The first one is JLC Master Calendar and the second one being AP Royal Oak Automatic 39mm and last Rolex Day-Date. I know all three brands have a really good brand value and all of looks amazing. So which one should i choose from these or if you have a better suggestion for me?
I know there are other wrist watches like Cartier Santos, Omega Constellation, IWC Portuguese, JLC Reverso Date, Breitling Montbrilliant Datora, Hublot Big Bang but it didn't make it to top 3.
And one more thing, between JLC and AP which one has a better brand value? or which one is a bigger brand?

You will not get many straight answers to such a question from here. Your Top Three are all fantastic watches. Make your own life easy and pick up one of these and then you will not go wrong. Best, Kari

I'd still say AP RO...bought it sold it regretted it bought it again and never gonna sell it again...15300 or 15202...both are awesome. Make sure you get the black dial if you're going for either steel or RG.

Black, Blue or white... AP RO 15300. I'm undecided on that too.. People buy the blue, then say it kills wearing it with a suit, black but too dark, white but contrast with hands isn't too great... Id go for white (classic) or blue (dark but fresh).
