Spring is finally arriving in New York, but my newest addition has what the manufacturer calls an “autumn” dial. It’s an interesting choice for me—I almost universally stick to standard round cases, and “salmon” dials, though popular, have not been my favorite. But this square-ish watch, with a dial that could be called salmon-like, hits the spot for me. And LF’s micro-rotor movement is a thing of beauty. Here are two pictures, snapped on my phone, that show how much the look of the dial can change—from one second to the next—depending on angle and lighting. Thanks for looking.
