Chopard Happy Sport

Hi all,

I am a new member and has falling in love with Chopard - especially the Happy Sport range. As a beginner, I am a typical lady who adores nice watches - as it the outlook & design. I hope over time I will learn more about the whole mechanism and engineering behind a watch.

So far, I am a proud owner of 2 Chopard watches - Valentine 2011 Happy Heart Ceramic and 26mm Happy Sport Round with 5 floating diamonds, mother of pearl dial, sapphire crown and 4 sapphire cabochons. I just wonder why I cant seem to locate my Happy Sport in Chopard website. The product no is 278250-3022. Wrote to Chopard yesterday but still havent near from them. I only managed to find the same watch but in white dial in 3rd party websites - maybe a replica for all we know. Anyone know about this model?

My dad is rather against me spending so much on a quartz watch. He, being old school, only believe in Rolex. He said quartz watch has no value and the real value for a watch is lies in its mechanism. For the price that I paid for my 2nd Chopard (Happy Sport), I can easily get a 26mm whitegold bezel Rolex, of which I did contemplated for a while.  Somehow I feel that unless I can afford the higher range of Rolex, else Rolex is like LV - every other lady in town will carry one and most likely the same model too -  not to mention the replica as well ! Whilst Chopard is like Chanel, more exclusive and less common and more refine.

Anyone care to share your thought with me? Please correct me if I am wrong.
