Discovery Tuesday: Twins (2222nd post. Yes. I know is cheesy)
For a long time I think about having 2 identical or in this case same model is ridiculous.
However when it comes to this watch: IWC Aquatimer 812AD. My logic just fell apart.
So far and yet so close. 1 with the applied logo and black date window while the other no logo and white date window.
The logical thinking is to keep one and sell the other. I haven't made up my mind yet.
What about you?

There are enough differences to make it very reasonable to have both in the collection. And the sum (in this case the pair) is greater than the individual watches precisely because or the subtle differences. Really lovely pair. Enjoy. Andrew

Funny you should mention the current vintage aquatimer.
It is the main reason I gone for the original. The tribute is just too darn huge! I love the design, the dial, movement, everything until when I put it on. Poof! It's too thick and huge. Too out of balance. I was a sad man that day. Even my wife pity IWC ...
