...if you see any flaws or functional problems now, then they will only become more obvious over time. Give someone else a chance to own such a beautiful and historic watch and look for a different rarity.
Of course, if you can't determine which is the least desirable then I guess you had better keep them both. That's what I had to do: the various good and bad points cancelled out each other.

Funny you should mention the current vintage aquatimer.
It is the main reason I gone for the original. The tribute is just too darn huge! I love the design, the dial, movement, everything until when I put it on. Poof! It's too thick and huge. Too out of balance. I was a sad man that day. Even my wife pity IWC ...
