Pairs are fun and with those watches, you got twice the pleasure.
Here is my humble pair:
I know that this, for the non-WIS, seems to be crazy but there are many advantages.
The main one is that, when you switch watches, no one will know that you did.
Congratulations for your beautiful set of Aquatimers and for your 2222 post.
2222 reminds me of this Brazilian song (Expresso 2222), from 1972 if my mind is correct.

There are enough differences to make it very reasonable to have both in the collection. And the sum (in this case the pair) is greater than the individual watches precisely because or the subtle differences. Really lovely pair. Enjoy. Andrew

Funny you should mention the current vintage aquatimer.
It is the main reason I gone for the original. The tribute is just too darn huge! I love the design, the dial, movement, everything until when I put it on. Poof! It's too thick and huge. Too out of balance. I was a sad man that day. Even my wife pity IWC ...
