Emperor's New Clothes? Or...

Do you think this works?

The strap is from Crown & Buckle—part of a new line called "Chevron Adjustable." This is the "Night + Forest" colorway: rows of black and deep royal blue, set off by the forest green yarn running down the middle, slightly raised above the base color.

I found the black leather (though quite comfortable) too stark a contrast. My only concern about the new strap is its length. My wrist is 7.25in (18.4cm for the rest of the world) in circumference, and the strap is just barely long enough to fit through both keepers after adjusting. Pretty comfortable, though at 1.4mm I would have preferred a slightly thicker material. There are, of course, lots of straps out there. But I'm beginning to appreciate just how big a difference the right strap can make, and that the search for just the right one may take some time. Oh, one last comment. The manufacturer goes out if its way to explain how the adjustment is done. Anyone who has adjusted the straps on a backpack will have no trouble flying blind with this arrangement.

Regards,  FH
