Patek Philippe

Farewell 5235G

Received a list a few days ago with many PP models out of production and within, noticed my 5235G on the list. Being an underrated Patek, not sure why people don't like it, could it be a regulator, too plain, I know - it's not a Nautilus. I have noticed all my friends who are into Patek will ONLY go for Nautilus and disregard all the other excellent timepieces by the House, how sad. I often ask myself, what if timepieces like 5960 or 5235 housed in a Nautilus case, that's will be something everyone wanted one and pushing up prices like the 5980. As soon as I saw this 5235G I love it and bought one in 2018, it's accurate and every time I wear it out, instant talking point because everyone knows of Nautilus only, and never realized that 5235G is the only regulator in PP models line-up. From now on, this piece will soon be forgotten except to those who owns one and treasure it like I do. Congrats to all the 5235G posts, I read them all..

Out of model line up but I will never forget this PP masterpiece, being the only movement ever made by Patek Philippe for the 5235G... Ian
