Genesis X Speedium Coupe Concept
It was just a few days ago when member cazalea (Mike) posted a celebratory thread in regards to legendary car designer, and intermittent WPS contributor Luc Donckerwolke receiving the honor of 'World Car Person of The Year 2022' from the World Car Awards panel, comprised of 102 journalists from 33 countries.
Today, Genesis publicized their brand-new iteration of the electric sports vehicle called Genesis X Speedium Coupe Concept, helmed of course by Mr. Donckerwolke as their Chief Creative Officer. I doubt that anyone could find this concept aesthetically unappealing, in my subjective view it is a truly phenomenal design exercise, quite likely the prettiest electric vehicle concept I have ever seen. This impression includes the likes of the Rimac One, and other hyper sports-car electric concepts of that nature........
Now, here is the video presentation by Mr. Donckerwolke himself, along with a slew of candid photographs to show-off the concept in the best possible light........

...in the Car and Driver article, the proportions (especially the 3/4 rear view) looked quite awkward.

Are all those light strips necessary?
These days I see light strips everywhere: kitchens, bathrooms, cars, shops... But why?
I did question it at first....
but I very quickly grew to love them in this particular execution . Generally speaking, they lend themselves quite easily to being over-used, that's without question.... Cheers, Filip
Agreed, the TRON light strips are a little chintzy...
They have so many interior TRON light strips in modern Mercedes-Benz vehicles. I don't find it to be in good taste. The interior ones bother me more than the exterior ones.

I don't like when the interior vehicle environment resembles a Christmas decoration of some sort x)........
