Genuine Jaeger reverso? Please help!
Hi there. I have been offered a Jaeger watch (apparently) and I would really appreciate some help with verifying the authenticity of it. The first face is white with black numerals and has a small seconds dial which is rectangular at the centre bottom. The thing which makes me suspicious is that the hands are silver coloured, not blue. The second face is plain black enamel with raised silver numbers 3 6 9 and12, also with silver hands. The back has (from the top) Reverso above 2005 which is above 1931. Down the right hand side are the numbers 270.2.64 in script. At the bottom it says No 212/500 above the JL logo with 'Jaeger LeCoultre' below. I do have some pictures but I am new to forums so I am not sure how to post them. Does anyone know anything about this watch?
Thank you
Victoria

Hi Victoria, Could you please show us a pic (or send one to me through mail)? I'm sorry but the watch description seems very odd to me, not just the hands but also the inscriptions. They could have produced a limited version I'd be unaware of, but not lim...

Thank you for your responses....here are my attempts at posting pictures! They are not very good, though, so I will e-mail some. Please note from moderator: the watch pictured below is a fake. This message has been edited by Dje on 2007-01-30 03:50:13...
