How do you consider JLC >>>

Regarding the whole actual production of watches, how do you perceive the JLC Manufacture?
As a PATEK, LANGE or VC concurrent?
Some years before, I'd answer NO.
But, for some years, let's say 4 years, the question has to be discussed.

Let's face it in a concrete way:

2004: Launch of the Reverso Platinum Nr 2, and its little sister, the Platinum Reverso Skeleton.
2004: Launch and presentation of the Gyro Tourbillon that asked 3 years of development.
2005: Launch of the Minute Repeater, in platinum.
2006: Launch of the Minute Repeater in Titanium, and the Reverso Squadra Triptyque.
2007: Launch of the Duo metre a Chronographe.

Before, we had some nice watches like the Limited Editions of Reverso in Rose Gold: 60eme, Chronographe Rétrograde, Minute Repeater, Tlourbillon, Geographic, and Perpetual Calendar from 2001 to 2000, but the production only concerned the Reverso range.

Some decades before, we had some legendary watches, as the Memovox range, and several very tasty pieces like the Polaris, the Memovox World Time, and the simple Memovox.

And what to say about the pocket watches, and the most famous of them, the Grande complication from 1928?

You will tell me that I speak, (excpet the Memovox pieces) of very pricey watches.
I will answer: not only. Look at the Amvox Range, for example, they aren't all that pricey.
The EWC are neither that pricey, as some Master like the Geographic, the Hometime, or the 8 days, and not to forget the simpler and thinner one, the M.U.T.
And they are original watches, well finished, even if some of us have met some problems with ( but it's also the case with Patek , UN, VC, or Lange...)

My point is the following:

JLC, as you know, is a real manufacture which produce most of the parts ot their watcvhes, except the glass and the strap.
JLC, for 4 years now, demonstrated a lot of sense of innovation, with original, and sometimes High Complicated Watches.
The finish is improving from year to year...Have a look , for examplen ona Minute Repeater, a Gyro, or A Reverso Skeletton Tourbillon, these are all marvellous watches.

Finally, I consider this brand as a serious concurrent to other that use to be prestigious as Lange, Patek ,and VC, for the reasons previously exposed.
