First thought: none. I don't want to take wrist time from what I already have.
Second thought: if a really nice Omega with a waffle dial and a 491 movement came my way, I would be tempted and it would be within budget.

Been thinking about this for a while, and then thinking even more when I saw this dial.
I had hoped to see the watch in person last year but all trips were cancelled. And it now looks unlikely (to me) that I will be in Japan this year either.

But I would be willing to order this watch without even trying it on. For a start the dimensions are great for both you and me. The finishing of the case, hands and numerals are among the best around. My qualms would be as follows - is the bezel too wide ...
With my budget I would need at least one month to come out with a new watch to add to my collection!
I'll keep saving money to buy watches for my "women"... Next one will be a Tudor for sure, perhaps a Royal!!!! A dive Doxa might also be a target, but not for me! ...
