Introductions...
When Time Out first opened its cyber-doors nearly two years ago one of the first threads invited participants to introduce themselves. It was a novel approach given the usual anonymity inherent in fora such as these but it was received in great spirit at the time, and it was great to put faces, or stories, to the noms de plume and avatars which had already become familiar on the other fora.
Here's the original thread: timeout.watchprosite.com
.
It seemed back then to really enhance the spirit of community.
Who was pplater then? -
Australian.
Nudging 50 on the outside, still feeling 18 inside.
Still on spouse #1 - married 20 something years with no remission for good behaviour.
Lawyer (attorney).
Collect (well, probably more like accumulate…) watches, wine, cars, music, art and early 20th century teapots (any other suggestions?).
Passionate about food (as the waistline attests).
Long time lurker, occasional poster - marveling at the ever shrinking world which Bill Gates has brought us all into.
Looking forward to playing.
Since then, a number of the old hands have moved on, and a bunch of new friends have taken a seat at the table. What do you think - would it be worthwhile to get acquainted all over again? Please join in - old hand or newbie: introduce yourself.
Cheers,
pplater.
