IS THIS AN EARLY PATEK ??
Hello:
I am trying to authenticate/identify this watch. It appears to be from the late 1850s, movement is very similar to a period Patek. Was retailed by "Faigaux and Goodshaux" in Locle, as signed on the inner dust cover. No other signatures.
The movment number 34941 appears on both the covers and the movement plate, as visible when separated from the dial. Any information would be much appreciated. Thanks,
