Issues with a certified Rolex center

I’d taken my wife’s datejust 41 to the Abu Dhabi Rolex service center during the summer. The 2 year old watch with 3235 caliber had suddenly started losing time. Since it was under warranty, I took it to the local Rolex service center (just down the road). Two weeks later, they said that it was ready for pick-up. Being the stickler for precision that I am, I asked them what they had regulated it to, they told me that “it was just fine”. The wife didn’t wear it for several months, but when she started wearing it again, it was losing 6 seconds per day. I took it back today to demand that they send it to Rolex service center Geneva to sort it out once and for all. To my surprise, they accused me of causing accidental damage and then taking it to a non-authorized watchmaker because there was a hair stuck to the dial and the hands had marks on them.

I was irate. Not only did they (1) damage the hands and introduce hair on top of the dial during the last service (2) fail to rectify the original issue, but they had the audacity of not owning up to their mistakes and accusing me of taking a watch (which was under warranty and “superlative chronometer” and one which had gained value) to a run-of-the-mill watchmaker

When I showed the service employee all the gashes on my speedmaster racing co-axial master chronometer and told him that it was still keeping impeccable time, he told me to not compare Rolex to omega or any other “5 dollar watch”

Sorry for the lengthy venting session.
