It is interesting to observe...

... how bronze develops its patina with passing of time.

My Tudor BB Bronzo was bought brand new in October 2016. It was shiny as gold then, though the finish of case is brushed not high polished.

My Bronzo has seen little wrist time and has been kept in a safe within a zip lock plastic pouch most of the time.

I took it "for a ride" last week end and when I retrieved it from the safe I was surprised with its patina developed after two or three months there.

The color was dull and darker. It gives character to the watch but if you ask me... I liked better when new.

I know that the charm of bronze cased watches is in the patina, but well... if I find a safe way of restoring the original color without polishing I would try it.

I was told that lemon juice or winegar can do the trick. I have to confirm it before trying!

In any case, I like the Tudor Bronzo very much. It has a different character than the steel brothers.
It is larger than them too: 43 mm vs 41 mm and it feels larger. The golden color makes it look larger too I feel.

But it is a very nice watch and the finish and color of dial and bezel adds to the charm.

Here some shots taken during the week end!
Cheers! Abel
