It's been a while since I've visited Venice. Nice to return
It's an over-crowded place during the day, to be sure. But when the crowds go away at night or in the early morning it's magic.

A quiet moment for a gondolier
A theatrical city for sure
With beautiful music
And classy service
A great market
Amazing scenery and architecture all around
Cafe life is strong here
And an always changing perspective on the icons
Sometimes a wedding if you're lucky
And finally an interesting reminder of some troubles

I did a record 31,000 steps in one day in Venice according to my fit bit. Walked all the way out to the ghetto and east across the city. Amazing.
