Jaeger Lecoultre Master Master Calendar Meteorite Dial.
Jaeger Lecoultre came with a surprise, at the SIHH 2015: A Meteorite Dial for the Master Calendar.
The Master Calendar certainly is an elegant watch with its triple calendar moon phase. The dial is an example of balance and class.
Choosing meteorite for the dial gives the watch some mystery and captivated me.
Here are two pictures I took at the SIHH:

Since its unveil, we didn't discuss it too often.
What I regret is to not have seen more Jaeger Lecoultre watches with a meteorite dial.
There was a Reverso Duo, from the collection " Atelier Reverso " Collection, on the bottom left here:
But I would like to see this material used for a few others. A Duometre, maybe? Or another nice Reverso, but on the recto side, this time?

That meteorite dial on the Master Calendar is gorgeous.
I haven’t seen it but it looks as if it would catch the light beautifully. Those Reversos superb. I wonder where they get their meteorites from - “Meteorites ‘R’ Us” perhaps? Regards Kev.
Meteorite dials are superb … Rolex made a Daytona with this dial to great effect.

Interesting how the one in first picture has a red date crescent and the other a blue one. I think the blue is the standard now which is what mine has. Got this one last year and can't stop staring at that dial! ...

I appreciate the subtle logic of that combination! Though I'm not a fan of colored gold, the red gold version of this watch appeals to me more than the steel model. On the red gold Master Calendar Meteorite, the intensity of the nearly black dial and the ...
