Master Calendar in the metal
I had an opportunity this past weekend to see the Master Calendar in person for the first time. I know there has been some debate over the look/size of this model when compared to the Master Moon (which I have - I'll declare that bias right now).
From the photos I was not terribly impressed with the layout of the Master Calendar dial, and I had read a few posts about the case size and thickness that had me wondering if I would like it at all. After seeing it in person, I can now say that I am not a fan of the changes that have been made.
The case is large (too large for my tastes) and is also very thick - this was the most surprising thing about this watch (even though I had heard that it was thick, I didn't expect it to be THAT thick). The dial layout is not as clean and balanced as the Master Moon's, so again not my preference. I am curious to know what others who have had both of these in their hands feel about the changes?
Not meaning to flog a dead horse here, but I said I would reserve my final opinion until I had the chance to see one in person. I am also not intending to be hurtful to anyone who owns/likes the new model.....it's just not to my tastes.
