My 1974 Rolex GMT Master
Greetings,
Meet my recent acquisition of this 1974 Rolex GMT Master. Inspite the of missing bezel and insert, I am very happy to get this watch. I had one 15 years ago and it came with complete box and papers, but someone convinced me that the watch is way too big for my wrist and I foolishly let it go. Have regretted it since. I guess the only consolation is the dial on this one is far better than the one I sold. For sure I will keep this in my collection for a long time. This watch came from and original owner's son. I like the watch is in used condition but not abused. The lume on the dial is nicely aged evenly yellowish including the lume on the hands. It is a good thing that the watch has only been service once. Now the short hunt for the original bezel is on. Could hardly wait to get one.
