New Arrival-Lang & Heyne Friedrich III
I just received this fantastic Lang & Heyne Friedrich III.
This is not a brand you see, or hear of, often. There are only 2 AD’s in the USA and L&H only produce about 50-60 watches annually. I currently own or have owned Patek, Lange, Vacheron, UJS, Ferrier, Journe, and Gronefeld. This is EASILY on par, in terms of quality and finishing, with the aforementioned brands, and superior to most of them in my opinion.

The movement is glorious and reminds me of Glashutte pocket watch style, but taken to extreme levels of finishing. Is the cap stone of the balance pivot diamond? Is there any shock protection? Is the movement gold? Love the triple lugs too.

The cap stone is indeed a diamond. To be honest, I'm not sure about shock protection. The movement is brass that has been gold plated. The wheels are all 14K gold.
