Omega Chronostop From Last Weekend's Knightsbridge Auction
Alas, it was not to be and I fear the auction house itself has played a little game that I am now trying to get to the bottom of it. When I contacted them via email the reply was filled with diatribe, adamant that the winning bidder had already paid the monies and picked up the item. Sadly, the email ended with threats of legal action in the event I was to take to social media to shine a light on this issue.
If any person reading this ended up as the winning bidder of this timepiece, can you please private message me. Before I dig any further, I'd like to have my gut feeling checked on this. If I'm wrong I will be the first to admit it. But if I'm right, it's just one more auction house playing games.Thanks in advance for any input that can be provided.

... A possibility. But when I inquired about it the reply I received was a bit offensive. A little too offensive in my humble opinion.

personnally I have told all collectors I know never to buy anything from watches of knightbridge ,expensive and beyond poor or should I say crappy condition items
As Amanico pointed it well, you can find better through some vintage specialized dealers
I have to agree with the above comments.
That really isn't a great example at all and sold for more than it's really worth IMHO, I have seen much better condition examples sell for quite a bit less I think you had a lucky escape so would be happy not sad. Marc
