Here it begins with a set of completed iC cal 5000.
These took an entire week to assemble..just assemble..not finish, or machine or test....more in a later post.
The rotor and hands have not been attached, and so...
This goes on on the 4th floor, devoted only to cal 5000.




Fitting a large rotor like the cal 5000, arguably the largest is a skilled art.
The incredible size of the rotor is apparent when the watchmaker tries to mount it onto the spndle...carefully.
The force of the swinging rotor is absorbed by an ingenius Ranaud and Papi design suspension arm..unique to the Cal 5000!!!




Now for the solid gold hands..these are really beautiful 3d hands!
