PP 5127 & VC Patrimony Opinion
I'm now looking between the 5127, original & the 001 as a keeper & quite honestly, winding down on my passion for this hobby. Yes, James Bond did say, Never say, never again....& I don't know if that will ever happen.
Having said that, I've narrowed down to the PP 5127 & the VC Patrimony. My criteria, is simple - an automatic & a date (I know the Purist may opine to the contrary on the date function...) but lifestyle dictates my compulsion for both.
My question - does the cost difference between the two (5127 & 001, new) justify the newer one?
I've also checked the link between the Patrimony & PP comparisons - what do you think?
I'd love an opinion....

Replaced by the 5227. VC's Patrimony Contemporaine with date 85180 is an excellent timepiece. It is larger than the PP at 40mm and has date at 6 o clock which I think gives the dial a better balance. I also believe at retail it is less expensive than PP. ...
I don't have much hjand's on experience with the PP watches....
but would highly recommend that you consider the VC 85180 Patrimony Contemporaine. Like Kunal said above, the balance of the dial with the date at 6 o'clock makes for a very elegant timepiece. Bill

Post Kunal's mail, I am seriously considering the Rose/Pink Gold option. My only apprehension at this point in time is the size (font) of the date. I hope to see it physically & then make a decision. Regards
