Rolex Daytona 116520 White or Black Dial - What does everyone think?
Hi all! Long time reader and first time poster here. I am in the market for a Rolex Daytona 116520, with the steel bezel. Trying to decide between the white or black dial. What does everyone think? Here are some examples:

Black. White is usually preferred presumably because most “professional” (sports) Rolex have a black dial, so white is “different”.
Same with the Explorer ll. However, unless you have very sharp eyes, the hands on any Daytona are hard to see at first glance (which for me detracts a lot of interest from wearing a Daytona). That said, I find the black dial Daytona a bit easier for readi...
I’m also a big fan of the steel bezel version and black has always been the top choice.
It seems to have a stronger presence, I felt. I did later appreciate the white dial version too, but black dial is first choice you’ll never regret.
It's personal choice.
I prefer the white dial. Take whatever dial you like more, you won't regret it. As others mentioned, I like 116520 more than 116500.

The Daytona is quite small for a chronograph. The white dial looks bigger than the black. Any watch with a white dial will look bigger than its black counterpart; it’s visual. There is a reason women prefer black dresses over white.😉
