Seiko Quartz V.F.A. ref. 3823-7001 mini review.
Hello to all.
A few lines to describe this magnificent clock dated April 1974.
As mentioned quality ' top starting with the construction of the case - block like with the form of a helmet, the beautiful glass domed crystal protruding (just like me) , date of course Kanji- English , beautiful applied indices that rely on a very stylish dial color white, but especially these indices seconds in relief (refinement) , the second hand black in contrast with that of the minutes and hours , with the latter also beautiful shape of a " shotgun " if you can ' use this term, the writing essential Seiko canon at noon and six o'clock quartz vfa Suwa logo .
I leave you with some pictures hoping for some comment, supplement or correction to what I wrote.

I am a lover of quartz and not only that, I wanted to have something special and unique at the same time, definitely talking about high-end Seiko quartz caliber 3823 and among the first three places, thermocompensated, 7 jewels, minimum monthly, for the time here was put on the market was an excellent produc , just think of the cost of the watch that exceeded abundantly 100.000 yen!

Particular dimension to the bracelet, in a word, spectacular (according to me) 9 meshes of which the outer larger following in a perfect way the wrist, soft , closing clasp different from other watches I have had so far, tab more pronounced single and central. Sized as usual for these watches 37mm including crown.

Was 5s/month but I am uncertain that it employed thermocompensation either analogue or digital. Ken maybe your contacts at Seiko can provide more details?

.. Kanji date and English day (as for the day/ date models), so the dae disc clicks twice every midnight (thus, takes a bit longer time to fully rotate) :-) And for the models made for Chinese speaking market, it has "One, Two, Three.." in Chinese charact...
