I’ll continue to share this one as it’s been the more worn Journe in recent times for me.
I made a comment elsewhere that this watch has very little wrist presence, in the sense that others will not take much notice of it. I find this to be a large positive for this piece. Of course to the right eye, it’s got a hell of a lot of wrist presence, which is the way we want it right?

The idea of wearing something that basically only watch enthusiasts know is a “flex”, while the normal passer would not be the wiser. Love the centrigraphe! Really unique complication.

Yes... I think it helps to wear a watch of a certain value when you go into AD and want to try some on!
It makes perfect sense... the managers don’t want to show you things if they think you can’t afford or not willing to spend $$$ on their products. It seems this way with any luxury shopping experience.

I’ve literally never gotten a random compliment (outside of dedicated watch meetups) wearing my watches from Journe, but I routinely get “nice watch” when wearing a Rolex Exp II. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

I was just looking at the Patek 5172G before I opened this app and I was thinking that I rarely, if ever, use the chronograph function, while I do use, for example, bezels on divers for timing things. Not that that is a reason not to own a superb high-end...
