Straps - a new lease of life
Hi All,
I was inspired by PPlater's new trousers for his Pt/WG F.P.Journe Resonance to start this thread. The Resonance, and its owner, have a new lease of life; a real transformation.
Have you any other stories or photos of how a change in strap or bracelet has given your watch a new look?
I should take the opportunity to sing the praises of the new Journe straps. I have always found Journe straps to be the most supple and comfortable I have experienced, even from new. And the consistent 20mm width and relatively thin profile (to match all of Journe's watches) makes the watches sit perfectly on the wrist.
The new range consists of double-sided crocodile (shown here in dark Blue) which is only slightly less supple than the single crocodile straps. And rubber-backed straps, perfect for hot and humid environments. A bit less supple and slightly thicker, but still very comfortable.
Pleased to see that Journe still think about the overall wearing experience ...

If you buy one you will not be disappointed. In fact, you will wish that they had not stamped the company name on the inside, just so you could wear it either way. Very well made - very supple - very comfortable. Cheers, pplater.
this might be a silly question
why are the two time displays on such odd different times ? not a time zone issue i assume ? is it so you can arrive late at meetings and point to the display of choice and claim: "look, it's only xyz now" ?
