Jaeger-LeCoultre

The last Amvox 2 model, I would call it transition model before 7.

Officially not a limited edition but I suspect very few were made, especially given the price premium for having the "transponder" functionality to unlock any Aston Martin model (2014). Not something I am likely to use but appreciate the effort that went into that collaboration. A memento from some of the best years of JLC when they were not afraid to push boundaries. Visually for me this watch is best of both worlds. I prefer the hands and the subregisters of 7 but don't care about the power reserve. Also I think Amvox 7 was trying a bit too hard with racing references - eg the grill on the dial, the shape of the crown. It is of course al very subjective, ultimately all Amvox models have their own appeal.
