I had a difficult time coming up with a response to Daos' post below. see home.watchprosite.com
I didn't respond to her post, but I did some thinking. Trying to determine my answer to her question as to the one brand I would collect if so limited, I asked myself this question: If I could have only one watch for the rest of time, and if it must come from my current collection, what would it be? My answer: The Panerai my wife gave to me many years ago. I have others of precious metal, with more decoration and of greater complication, but, fundamentally, for me, that Panerai is, quite simply, the one. What's your one?
Best,
Jed
