Horological Meandering

QED, Jed . . .

. . . the Karree perpetuals have perfect golden ratio proportions, which I find aesthetically compelling, and the perpetual complication is the one that imbues a mechanical device with intelligence; Glashütte's implementation (using apertures) is to my way of thinking a more elegant solution than the usual analog pointers, as only the current calendar information is displayed . . . analog displays invariably include every day, date, and month, which I find unnecessarily tedious. Oh, and the silver and black combination - that would be a nod to my favorite football team ;-) . . . cordially, Art This message has been edited by Dr No on 2009-07-22 22:08:42
