This Goes Hand in Hand With My Rolex Price Increase Post
A long time coming but this makes me seriously want to rethink
any future watch purchases. Watches are getting more expensive,
not just Rolex. While I am fortunate to have 2 of them, 3 if you count
my wife's, and a Bell and Ross, TAG and several very nice vintage pieces.
I am asking myself do I really want to spend $10,000 or more on a watch?
I don't have jillions of dollars waiting to be spent on watches, I have other
obligations that come first. I think any future purchases will be of the
"mid-level" variety. I think a lot of us could put the same brands on a list
without mentioning them here. I learned long ago that I don't need to break the
bank to get a nice watch and I still get much enjoyment from them.

With prices rising across the board, I am hanging on to watches I no longer wear all that much. None of my watches are worth all that much, but it's still not the healthiest behavior.
