Tissot has been looking to its past recently (a bit like Longines) for an inspiration for new models - the Heritage Navigator 160th anniversary being a good example.
The Heritage 1936 may not be such a close tribute but does resemble watches from the era reasonably well with its wire lugs, Breguet numerals and pomme hands. Inside it beats a proven ETA 6498-1 hand wound calibre and as an added bonus one gets a hunter case back and especially for Nico - no date in sight
On the downside the case is anything but small at 45mm x 13mm.
